Burt Alimansky

Burt Alimansky

Chairman and CEO

As a corporate director, Burt Alimansky has served on the boards of several successful companies, including PetSmart Inc. He has been president of the New York chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth, president of the Harvard Business School Club of New York, a national board member of the National Foundation for Teaching Entrepreneurship, and a board member of the American Woman’s Economic Development Corp.

He has been active in several professional organizations, including the National Venture Capital Association, the National Association of Small Business Investment Companies, the Entrepreneurship Institute, the Financial Women’s Association, and the Software and Information Industries Association. He is a member of the Harvard and Dartmouth Clubs of New York City.

He was saluted by the Mayor for his “noteworthy commitment to the economic vitality” of New York City and he was honored with an Entrepreneur of the Year award by Ernst & Young, Merrill Lynch, and Inc. Magazine.

At Harvard Business School, he was elected in 1989 by the alumni to the Board of Directors of the Alumni Association, and in 1977 by the faculty to the honorary Century Club.

He is an honors graduate of Dartmouth College, where he was editor of the daily campus newspaper.  He is an alumnus of the NASBIC Venture Capital Institute.


Arlene West

President and COO

Arlene West co-founded the Capital Roundtable and has served as its chief operating officer and president for nearly twenty years.

Previously, she co-founded the New York Venture Group, which produced the highly-regarded morning networking events for emerging growth companies and the venture capital community. These were held at the Rainbow Room at Rockefeller Center and featured prominent entrepreneurs and investors as speakers.  Attendance reached as many as 1,000 people at a single event.

West had also been an executive at Ruder-Finn, the large global public relations firms, serving a range of clients including financial services companies.

Her first position after college was working for the Colombian Consulate in New York City, helping facilitate trade between Colombia and the United States.

Among other experiences, she has been a psychotherapist in private practice and was a teacher of English as a second language.  She has lived abroad and traveled extensively, and she studied at universities in Madrid and Mexico City. She holds a bachelor’s degree in romance languages from Queens College of the City University of New York.

Arlene West

Kellie Green

Chief Production Officer

Kellie Green is the Chief Production Officer at The Capital Roundtable.  In her role she manages our production team and is responsible for new program development, content creation, and chairman and speaker recruitment.  She has been with The Capital Roundtable in various production roles since 2011.

Kellie earned her MBA from Suffolk University in Boston and her BS from Saint Michael’s College in Burlington, Vermont.  She currently lives in Atlanta with her husband, daughter and son, and their enormous great dane puppy.

Claire Notton, Chief Marketing Officer

Claire Notton

Marketing Director

Claire Notton is the Marketing Director at The Capital Roundtable.  She manages our sales and marketing team and is responsible for sponsorship sales, client relationship management, and executing marketing campaigns. She has been with The Capital Roundtable since 2013.

Claire earned her BS in international business from San Diego State University. She currently lives in Denver and spends her free time in the mountains with her fiancé and basset hound, enjoying hiking, camping, and skiing.

Hannah Sohn

Senior Producer

Hannah Sohn is a Senior Producer at The Capital Roundtable.  In her role she creates content for conferences including speaker recruitment.

Hannah earned her BA in history from Rutgers College.  She has been with The Capital Roundtable since April 2019 and has produced content for executive learning and development programs for over ten years.  She lives in Brooklyn with her daughter and enjoys taking advantage of all that New York City has to offer.
